The Australian College of Psychological Medicine was formed in 1998 by and
for medical practitioners who have a particular interest in treating
patients with psychological problems. The College aims to provide both an
active peer support base and regular opportunities for meaningful
educational development.

SCAPE was established in 1999 to provide a national and professional organizational structure to support the practice of counselling and psychotherapy education in Australia. SCAPE aims to foster the professional development and professional identity of counselling and psychotherapy educators as well as maintain high standards of practice and ethics among members and associates.
