Mind-Body Workbook for PTSD: A 10-Week Program for Healing After Trauma

Product Description

Published USA, 2010
Mind-body bridging
(MMB) uses both the mind and the body to build a bridge from a state of impaired healing to one in which they heal themselves. This workbook offers mind-body techniques and practices that quieten the I-System, letting the patient heal themselves from trauma. It is a self-guided program that the client can complete in ten weeks. They will use their body to settle their mind, develop the skills they need to recover from PTSD, and start to feel connected, confident and in charge of their life. With seven daily exercises, each chapter is designed to be completed in one week. At the end of each chapter is an MBB and a weekly evaluation scale that helps the client measure their progress.
